Helpful information about taking classes with this provider

Noncredit Classes at Cabrillo

  • Noncredit classes are tuition free, flexible, repeatable, build skills and may earn a certificate but not a college degree. Some career courses may have a fee.

  • Most noncredit classes offer in-person registration

  • Classes may be on-going or offer registration at the start of each session - for Fall registration happens in early August, Spring registration happens in January and Summer registration happens in May.

  • Classes are offered in Aptos and Watsonville and online

  • You can complete this noncredit application for help enrolling in noncredit classes

Credit Classes at Cabrillo

Fees:

  • Cabrillo credit classes are $46 per unit plus student fees. Most classes are 3 units.

  • Financial Aid is available to many students.

How to enroll:

Taking a class for credit is a two-part process:

 

  1. Apply to become a student using CCCApply

  2. Register for classes on the Cabrillo website using My Cabrillo

 

Apply:
 

  • Applying online is free through OpenCCC

  • There are 7 steps to apply. Please set aside time to work on the application.

  • The steps include taking an assessment to help you decide which level class is best for you.

  • After you apply you will receive a student ID sent to the email you used on the application. It can take 2-3 days to receive your Cabrillo student ID after completing OpenCCC Apply

  • You do not need a social security number or diploma

  • Not a US Citizen or Permanent resident?​ We support the Dream Act and have resources available for aspiring citizens (undocumented students) at the Dream Resource Center

Register:
 

  • You will need a student ID to register

  • Keep in mind you will need to pay for classes you register to take ($46 per unit, plus student fees)

  • Financial aid is available. Check out Cabrillo's Financial Aid information.​​
